Synopsis

Alejandro, victim of an illegal adoption, embarks on an investigation in Europe and Chile, which becomes a personal quest leading him to his roots, the Mapuche people.

Awards and Official Selections

The Vanished, has been selected to CoPro Market DokLeipzig 2021, MiradasDoc 2022. It was awarded the DocMontevideo 2022 award and the distribution award with the distributor Treelines, Spain, during MiradasDoc.

The project was granted with the Chilean CNCA Writing Fund and the Belgian writing fund
VLAAMS Fund.
