Synopsis

An unexpected email reveals to Paula, a young filmmaker, the existence of a Chilean director named Alicia Armstrong, who surprisingly bears her last name. She discovers that Alicia was the third female film director in Chile, making a single film in 1926, now lost. Paula will try to recover everything about Alicia and her movie, realizing that something deeper than a simple movie is hidden behind it.

  Born on October 21, 1994, with a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Duoc Uc, she stands out in the fields of directing, screenwriting and editing, participating in the short films »Tierra de Nadie», »El Camino de los Perros» » and »La sombra de Enrique». She currently works as editor and director at Imago Producciones, an audiovisual production company dedicated to popular science. She has edited television series, both for children and non-children, and a feature film awarded in international festivals called Atacamex 8081: Exploring the unknown. She also belongs to the group Nosotras Audiovisuales.

  Born January 6, 1955, he studied medicine and biology (PUC) and did postgraduate studies in film and television at York University (Canada). He has done pioneering work in the area of science communication and popularization of science, creating popular science series and documentaries for all ages and audiences that have received numerous international awards in France, Czech Republic, Canada, Spain, Greece and many other countries for his scientific documentaries and series such as Enlaces, La Fuerza del Mar, Los Fantásticos Viajes de Ruka, Experimenta and Atacamex 8081: Explorando lo desconocido, among many other productions.
