Synopsis

After the death of Chilean writer Alicia Morel (1921-2016) and the demolition of her house, a parallel and unknown archive emerges. Interwoven with her children’s literature, this archive reveals her contradictions and offers a critical perspective on women’s writing and the 20th-century literary canon.

She is a member of RED CERO EN CONDUCTA and is currently working on the editing of the documentary «La Causa», directed by Macarena Aguiló. «Alicia bajo la higuera» is her first feature film.
