A Chilean textile factory announces its definitive closure, a decision that is postponed, leaving the workers in a state of uncertainty. The noise of the machines mixes with radio announcements of protests, elections and quarantines, while the employees continue to work without a break, and like life itself, they go on.
Director
Isidora Gálvez Alfageme holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts and a Master’s degree in Documentary Filmmaking from the University of Chile. She studied Cinematography Direction at SICA, Argentina. She directed Por acá pasaron los ciclistas (Cyclists Passed Through Here). In 2023, she completed the Chile Crea Fellowship for specialisation at ECU in Uruguay. She is currently coordinating the Cero en Conducta programme.
Producer
Alejandra Rosas is a journalist and holds a Master’s degree in Documentary Filmmaking from the University of Chile. She studied film distribution at EICTV, Cuba. Through Tonina Sur Films, she has produced documentaries such as Madre hay una sola (2015), Puerto Escondido (2020), Vuelvo donde nunca estuve (2025), and Siringa (2025), as well as the series Ellas en la palabra. She leads DOCUMENTA SUR Lab, which provides consultancy for regional documentary projects.

The project participated in Documenta Sur Lab 2022, receiving guidance from seven international experts, and was selected for Encuentros BioBioCine 2022, where it connected with Bolivia Lab and Mafiz. It is included in the Tonina Sur Films catalog for Ventana Sur 2024.
