Synopsis

In 1987, a storm diverted the plane of Colombian anthropologist Carlos Castaño-Uribe when he was flying over the Amazon.

What he found in the Chiribiquete area was so overwhelming that he decided to protect it with silence: the story of the human being was being written for thousands of years on its vertical walls with thousands of cave paintings.

The documentary Chiribiquete, the lost civilization of the Amazon is a journey through the history of the human being in the American continent as it passes through the Chilean Patagonia and the Brazilian and Colombian Amazon. Is Chiribiquete one more piece of evidence that will help to answer when the human being arrived in America?
