Since 2010, CCDoc looks to promote Chilean documentary, its marketing, distribution and internationalization of its films and series; along with stimulating the exploration of markets, coordinate Chilean producer delegations abroad and bring relevant industry actors to the country in order to create networks, new alliances, and business opportunities. It focuses its work on six lines of action: training, networks, promotion, distribution, research, and partnership. Its main initiatives are the sector brand Chiledoc, the market meeting Conecta and the distribution program Miradoc.
With the objective of opening in Chile a market meeting focused on nonfiction, we created Conecta, an international industry meeting that brings together Latin American producers with distributors, exhibitors, sales agents, programmers, channel representatives, festivals, markets, and funds, domestic and foreign. With Conecta we seek to strengthen the connections between the documentary community in Latin America and empower Chile as a window display to the continent’s production.
Distribution of Chilean documentaries; relationship with producers, government institutions or private media, funds, festivals, markets, exhibitors, sales agents, and national and international distributors. Alliances with organizations that promote Latin American documentary production.
We are a non-profit corporation that, thanks to competitive public funds, we set up training programs for producers; commercial distribution of Chilean documentaries in cinemas and online; generate market instances; provide advisory to filmmakers, we promote useful information and boost partnerships between the sector.
Conecta
This international documentary industry meeting event brings together Latin American producers with distributors, exhibitors, sales agents, programmers, and representatives of festivals, markets and funds around the world. It looks to strengthen connections between the documentary community in Latin America and to empower Chile as a window display to the continent’s production.
Miradoc
Through this distribution program, we have commercially released 60 Chilean documentary features in more than 23 independent cinemas and multi cinemas across the country. Today we are expanding the scope of our releases online to the whole world, looking for new audiences and strengthening the bridge between creator and audience.
