  His directorial debut was a six-episode documentary series about Mapuche culture, broadcast on TVN (National Television of Chile) in 2020. He then wrote, directed, acted in, and produced his first fiction short film, «Happy Family», in 2023. The film won three Vitafest 2023 awards for Best National Fiction Short Film, as well as Best International Short Film at the Santa Dev International Film Festival 2023, and Best International Short Film at the Accolade Global Film Competition.
