The most important meeting of the film industry already has its date. The Cannes Film Festival’s market, Marché du Film, will take place in the French city from the 17th to May 25th, 2022. The submission to participate in the Cannes Docs’ Showcase of Film in Work in Progress, a section dedicated to documentary, is now open to projects in the final stage of editing.
Those selected will participate in the section with a three-and-a-half-minute pitch – face-to-face or recorded according to the conditions of participation – and a screening of a ten-minute film fragment to programmers, sales agents, and relevant decision-makers from the world industry of non-fiction.
Behind this call are Chiledoc, the sectorial brand of the Chilean documentary, and Cannes Docs, the documentary space of the Marché du Film, the most important audiovisual market globally.
The submissions’ deadline is Monday, March 7th, 2022, at 15:00. To apply, you must send all the required materials to the mail internacional@chiledoc.cl
