Director
Miguel Soffia is a Chilean documentary filmmaker with more than a decade of experience in film, TV, and advertising. He has collaborated with Netflix, BBC, Al Jazeera, among others. Committed to the decolonization of stories, his documentaries cover topics from climate change to sociocultural conflicts on the seven continents. He was president of the Association of Independent Producers of Chile (API) between 2021-2023 and is a member of the editorial committee of the WCSFP.
Director
Kelsey Eliasson has worked as a polar bear guide in Churchill, Canada for more than twenty years. He founded WolfHouse Films Inc. after years of logistics and supporting various film crews. His first documentary, Bears: Ultimate Survivors, is distributed by EarthTouch USA and has been sold in various world markets including China, Korea, Indonesia and Europe.
Producer
Camila Maureira is a Chilean film, television and advertising producer with more than 11 years of experience in the audiovisual industry. Graduated in film direction and screenwriting from the University of Valparaíso, with a diploma in executive production from the Universidad del Desarrollo, she has worked as a general producer for prominent production houses and creative agencies such as Woki Toki, Wemul, Cbra Films, Vice Media and Amoralchaos.
Since 2022, she is the general producer of We Are South.
Producer
Karine Genest is the sole owner of Nature360 Productions, a Yukon-based French-language natural history production company. She is an independent producer and director, as well as a camera operator and nature guide. Her debut, L’Esprit Des Ours, was one of UnisTV’s most watched natural history shows. She has appeared on camera multiple times on UnisTV and on Polar Bear Town (OLN/Smithsonian). Arctic Oasis, his second documentary, aired on Radio Canada (CBC) in 2021.
