Synopsis

Gustavo Gatica has been left blind after being shot by the police during the largest and most violent protests in Chile since the end of the dictatorship. Along with his brother Enrique, he embarks on a journey to uncover the truth and seek justice. However, he must break through circles of silence that prevent him from finding those responsible, putting an end to impunity once and for all. As the trial for his case unfolds, Gustavo searches for an explanation for everything that has happened; One that gives meaning to his life and opens new horizons.

    Director, producer, and screenwriter of fiction and documentary films and series. He won the 2018 International Emmy Award for his series Una Historia Necesaria. In 2019, he received the Best Director award at NACCC in New York City and won two National Television Council of Chile awards in 2016 and 2019. He served as General Director of the Aprobemos Dignidad campaign in 2020, which was nominated in six categories and won two Napolitan Awards in the Spot of the Year and Best Awareness Campaign categories at the 2021 ceremony in Washington, D.C. In 2021, he directed the documentary series Más allá de Diego, released on Star+, which won the 2022 PRODU Award for Best Biographical Series. In 2024, he was nominated for the 2024 International Emmy Award for the series La Vida de Nosotras. Currently, he is the showrunner of the series Raza Brava, which is in post-production and set to premiere in the second half of 2025.

    A producer and audiovisual communicator with extensive experience in the production of film, television, and advertising projects. Throughout her career, she has participated in various acclaimed productions, including serving as Executive Producer of the documentary El Ovejero (Punta Arenas), which won Best Regional Documentary at the Lebu Film Festival 2014, and as Executive Producer of the feature film Nublado, Cubierto y Lluvia, premiered in Concepción (2017). She was also the Head of Production for the series La Vida de Nosotras, nominated for the 2024 International Emmy Awards, and the Executive Producer of the series Raza Brava, currently in post-production. She is now the Director of Production at De Culto, a production company specializing in fiction and non-fiction projects.
