Himno is a vibrant musical journey that asks how the song El pueblo unido jamás será vencido (The People United Will Never Be Defeated), composed fifty years ago in Chile, has been recognized and played in different parts of the world.

  Director

  Martín Farías is a musicologist and audiovisual producer. Master in Creative Documentary from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He has co-directed the documentaries Más cerca de la luz (2014), Canción norteña (2017), Our Voices Resound (2018) and Dolores (2020).

• Eileen

  Karmy

  Producer

  Eileen Karmy is a musicologist and academic at the University of Playa Ancha. In 2014 she founded the audiovisual production company Palimpsesto where she has carried out different tasks in the making of documentaries. She co-directed Más cerca de la Luz (2014), Canción Norteña (2017) and Our Voices Resound (2018).
