In the 90s, after a wild ride cashing in big in Miami with their friends, Máxima, an Argentinean queer sex worker, lands in the Big City with their camcorder. Twenty-three years later, marginalized and battling alcoholism, they reconnects with their trans Latinx sisters and joins their fierce fight for their dignity and labor rights.

Nicole Costa is a Chilean filmmaker and producer based in New York. In 2018, she premiered the short film «Danger & Alone» at SANFIC. Her first documentary feature, «El viaje de Monalisa» (2019), premiered at DOC NYC and IDFA, and was selected as the Best Latinx Film in the USA by Cinema Tropical.

Daniela Camino is a filmmaker and producer, co-founder of Mimbre Films. She has produced award-winning works that have premiered at major international film festivals, such as «AliEN0089», «El viaje de Monalisa», and «Volver a casa MADRE VR», among others.
