Director
Tamara Uribe (Chillán, 1989) is a documentalist and programmer at CCÑ. A member of the MAFI collective since 2013, she participated in the creation of the transmedia project MAFI.TV, premiered at IDFA DocLab, and the award-winning film DIOS at Vision du Réel. Uribe completes her first documentary short film while making her directorial debut in OASIS, MAFI’s new feature film, which will have its world premiere at Berlinale Forum 2023.

Felipe Morgado (Quilpué, 1991) is a filmmaker, producer, and artistic mediator. A member of the MAFI Collective since 2014, he has led artistic residencies throughout Chile with a focus on community cinema. He produced the short film FANTASMAGORIA by Juan Francisco González, premiered at DocLisboa, La Habana, and other prominent festivals. His directorial debut will be in OASIS, MAFI’s new feature film, premiering at Berlinale Forum 2023.

MAFI – Mapa Fílmico de un País – is a film collective that, since 2012, has been working on the collaborative, observational, and territorial creation and teaching of documentary cinema. After premiering PROPAGANDA and DIOS at Visions Du Reél, their third feature film, OASIS, will be exhibited at Berlinale Forum 2024. OASIS is produced by Alba Gaviraghi and Diego Pino Anguita, prominent producers behind the companies AGOSTO Cine and Cangrejo Films, respectively.
