At the beginning of the 90s, parades began to be held on the outskirts of Santiago in order to create new territorial and cultural milestones in the populations after the military coup of 1973. The managers of this movement have their training in street and community theater. , and they are the ones who create the prelude to what we know today as parades/carnivals in Santiago using art as a tool for change and social activation.
Director
Audiovisual Producer graduated from Santo Tomás Professional Institute in 2013. He has worked in various areas of video creation including documentary filmmaking, short films, institutional videos, and music videos. He joined Trashumante Audiovisual Cooperative in 2014, being one of its founders. Some of his works include: «3rd Self-Managed Carnival El Castillo» in 2015 (camera and editing), a video documenting the Carnival in La Pintana commune, El Castillo neighborhood. «Volantinero» in 2016 (direction, camera, and editing). «En Punto y Coma» Short Film, in 2016 (camera and editing), created during an audiovisual creation workshop by Trashumante Audiovisual Cooperative. «Prohibido entrar» Science fiction/horror short film directed by Rodrigo Campaña, in 2017 (camera). «De Indiferencia, Pena y Hambre» in 2018, Director of Photography and cameraman, a fiction short film directed by Karina Gutierrez from Trashumante Cooperative. «Migrant Walls, A Latin mural in Newtown» in 2019, a short documentary about the creation of a mural by the Latin community in New Zealand; directed, produced, filmed, and edited by Antonio. He is currently working on the documentary «Pasa la Calle, el arte de resistir» since 2017, directing and assisting in editing this project.
Director
Audiovisual Producer, studied Audiovisual Communication Technician at IPST. Since 2007, he started experimenting with recording and editing intuitively with the arrival of a digital camera to his family, and in 2011, with the start of his studies, he began working and developing in different areas of the industry, participating in independent productions mainly in music videos, while also working as a technician and cameraman in closed circuit television. In 2015, he joined Trashumante Audiovisual Cooperative where he began making documentary-style videos and independent recordings on various topics, serving as a cameraman and editor.
Director and Producer
Producer and Cultural Manager graduated from IP ARCOS in 2016. She is a member of Cooperativa de trabajo Trashumante Audiovisual, co-founder, and manager of the Alicia Vega Film Club. Since 2017, she has been working on «PasalaCalle, el arte de resistir,» currently in post-production, where she initially served as a producer and later as a director and editor alongside Antonio Hernández and Bayron Espinoza. In 2018, she took on the production of the short film «De Indiferencia, Pena y Hambre» directed by Karina Gutiérrez. In November 2020, she served as Production Manager for the short film «Sequía» alongside Trashumante Audiovisual, Pejeperro Films, Milla Films, Lumbre Colectiva, Sonica Films/Amukim Sonido, and Provincianos Films at the IberoChallenge Festival of the 48 Hour Film Project. In February 2021, she produced the documentary short film «Somos el río» alongside Javiera Moraga (Director), Nicole Kramm (Director of Photography), and Constanza Torres (Camera). She has produced music videos «Bien Boni» (2021) by Araceli Cantora and «Serpiente» (2023) by Addis Ababa; and she is also the producer of the documentary feature film «Vidiella, el archivo de una bestia» (2025) directed by Jonathan Aravena.
