Synopsis

María Fernanda (23) seeks answers to why her brother Felipe (32) left home without explanation fifteen years ago. With humor and love, she invites him to talk about what happened at that time, and together they rewrite the moments that led him to make that decision. In a playful game with time, family archive and the camera, María Fernanda manages to close a wound and creates the farewell she always wanted.

    María Fernanda (24) studied Audiovisual Direction at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. «Distancia» (2021), her first experimental short film, premiered at the San Diego International Film Festival and had screenings in Italy and the Netherlands. In 2023, she directed «De Grande,» her thesis project, a hybrid short film currently in the distribution stage.
