An elderly couple, who survived decades of slavery inside a powerful enclave in the south of Chile, now lives in isolation in Patagonia. Their sole purpose is living, in the present, the past they never had, while fighting against their greatest fear: the oblivion of society. This documentary story is intertwined with a fictional story, in which a woman, faced with the imminent loss of her memory, decides to go into a forest to unearth a secret, and thus try to ask forgiveness for a guilt she has carried all her life, which is linked to the darkest chapter of Chile’s recent history.
